How does BCA work?
This app allows the observer to log key actions at the end of each point. These are weighted positively or negatively, producing a final consistency balance per player and per set.
W — Winner (+1): Point won by a player's direct positive action.
UE — Unforced Error (−1): Point lost due to a player's own mistake, without pressure from the opponent.
IE — Induced Error (+0.5): An action that generates pressure and causes the opponent to err. Once logged, the app will ask who made the Forced Error.
FE — Forced Error (−0.5): An error made under pressure from the opponent (logged automatically when an IE is recorded).
Important: W and UE are logged individually. If the point ends under pressure, log the IE for the player who applied pressure — the app will then ask who made the FE.
Any balance above 0 indicates a positive performance. A balance of 0 is neutral.
